Ahrensburg, 01.07.2004 - Basler?s shareholders elected a new Supervisory Board at today?s Annual General Meeting. The previous members Norbert Basler, Großhansdorf, and Bernd Priske, Willich (Management Board member of M.A.X. were confirmed in office until 2009 and 2008 respectively. Konrad Ellegast, Hoisdorf (former CEO of Phoenix AG), was elected to the board for the first time, until 2007. At the subsequent Supervisory Board meeting, Norbert Basler was appointed as chair and Bernd Priske as vice-chair of the Supervisory Board.
In the Management Board report, the chairman of the Management Board, Dietmar Ley, confirmed the turnover forecast for 2004 made in May to the Annual General Meeting. In view of the orders situation and the turnover generated so far this year, the Management Board confidently anticipates EUR 45 mill. turnover (+26% compared to 2003) and EUR 2.5 to 3 mill. earnings before tax (2003: EUR 0.7 mill.).
The Annual General Meeting further authorised the Management and Supervisory Boards to issue convertible bonds on a scale of EUR 3 mill..
