Dear Sir or Madame,
1) How many German students are currently enroled for an MBA at your institution and how many German MBA alumni do you have?
2) What is the average GMAT score of the current MBA class? Has the average score increased in recent years and how do you expect it to develop?
Thank you and best regards
Answer from Cranfield
1) Currently we have 2 Germans on our full-time MBA and 3 on the modular option. We have 46 German alumni.
2) The average GMAT score of the current class is 660. This score has been increasing steadily over the last few years and we expect this trend to continue. The average GMAT score of applicants to Cranfield has also been increasing?

Answer from Cambridge
Thank you for your question.
We have a very diverse class, 85% from outside the UK. We currently have 5 German students. We have a total of 19 alumni working in Germany and another 3 German alumni working outside of Germany.
The average GMAT score of the class is 680 and we have seen a rise in the average score over the years. We anticipate a further rise in the coming years towards an average of 700. We anticipate this happening naturally and we are not deliberately forcing the GMAT score up. Each year we receive higher quality applicants and this is what drives the increase. GMAT is only one factor in our selection process and not necessarily the most important one.
Answer from Ashridge
Thank you for your enquiry. We currently have 53 German nationals on our MBA Programme and our alumni now total 172. The current average GMAT score here is 590. The average score over the last ten years is 610. Ashridge also operates its own entrance test and this is offered instead of GMAT at the discretion of the interviewing Director.
Hope this helps.
Answer from Manchester Business School
Thanks for your e-mail. We currently have 7 German students on the programme. We have approximately 50 German alumni who we are actively in contact with. Our current average for GMAT is 617. This has steadily increased over the past 5 years and seems to be following a trend which is being experienced by most business schools. Our minimum requirement for GMAT is now 600 as opposed to 550 two years ago.
Please let me know if you require further information.

Answer from Warwick University
Thank you for your interest in the Warwick MBA.
We currently have 45 Germany students studying for the Warwick MBA by a variety of different ways of study. The majority are studying by distance learning (31 students), with a further 9 studying the MBA by full-time study. This year, this is almost 10% of our full-time class. We also have smaller number of students studying on a modular basis (studying part-time for a week at a time at Warwick).
In addition, we have around 25 German alumni.
The average GMAT of our full-time MBA class is 625. This score has remained fairly consistent over recent years, and we don't expect it to change radically in the near future. The GMAT is just one indicator of a candidate's ability, and whilst we see some very high scores from some applicants, we would also not discount a candidate solely because of a lower score.
I hope that this answers your questions. If I can help any further, please let me know or visit www.wbs.ac.uk.
