Klaus Stratmann has been covering politics for Handelsblatt since 2005. He focuses on energy policy. He moved from Handelsblatt's head office in Düsseldorf to the Berlin office in 2005. Prior to that, he was an editor at the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ), studied law, and completed a banking apprenticeship.
